Minding the Merchandise

Day 61.
Minding the Merchandise

While attending the Tuba Christmas concert last night (where, incidentally, the spice cake was very well received) I was asked to help mind the merchandise table where there were a few goodies for sale. Among them were some knit items including scarves and hats that I was thrilled to see were made in the USA, Minnesota to be specific, by Wear-A-Knit Custom Knitwear (www.wearaknit.com).

So, feeling good about the wares, I helped sell these items during the intermission. Several people bought the knit goods and I was glad to be helping the event and also being part of the  chain of sales that got these items from a cool company that offers their items custom made to order into the hands of appreciative consumers. I'm also glad to be a ble to share with you a little about what this company does because I think a custom gift of this nature shows care and thought and even commemorates nicely a group, activity or special event as you can see in this case. It's also nice for keeping you warm during the chilly days ahead.
