Making Earrings with Gemstones from the USA

If there's one thing I love more than wearing jewelry, it's making jewelry. It gives me a chance to be creative and crafty and have something cool to wear at the end of the project. I recently went searching for supplies that were made here in the USA and I started looking at one of my favorite locally owned bead and gem shops where I got some great insight, suggestions and help finding exactly what I needed. All the supplies for putting together my earrings were purchased from http://www.fallhillbeadandgem.com/ and Kim helped me find the silver findings, some beautiful sleeping beauty turquoise beads from Morenci, AZ and some faceted beads made from locally mined Herkimer Diamaonds. Time to put it all together..

 

Once the project was complete I was very pleased with the beautiful earrings!
