Day 33.
A Mug That Matters
I recently read an article about how Starbucks had turned to an Ohio company to make mugs for them right here in the USA. I found both the article and the effort impressive.
A Mug That Matters
I recently read an article about how Starbucks had turned to an Ohio company to make mugs for them right here in the USA. I found both the article and the effort impressive.
After reading this I wanted to purchase one of the mugs myself. I will say I had some difficulty finding one locally, so I ordered mine from their online store by searching their site for "made in USA" and received a high quality, durable, American made mug.
I do hope Starbucks will continue to make available mugs and other products from here in the USA and I appreciate their effort to support American business. In the process of learning about these mugs I was also intrigued by another initiative, createjobsforusa.org. I found American made wristbands available in support of this effort for a $5.00 donation.

The wristband packaging explains the goal for these donations is to "help create and sustain jobs in underserved communities." I like the purpose, the message and the design of this wristband and will proudly wear it in support of American business.
