Something Unexpected
Lots of people make some pretty cool creations, but this
is the first time I've come across something like this. Yesterday I told you
about a recent shopping experience and during that trip Kim was kind enough to
show me something really interesting. She showed me these beads made by an
artist in New York City, Michael Harrington, and she told me that they are made
from recycled eyeglass lens material.
They are absolutely beautiful and I checked out more of
his bead designs online...
They are intricate and colorful (we agreed they look a
little bit like hard candies!) and I'm certain would be very appreciated when
utilized as part of some unique jewelry.
