As I looked out my window this morning I couldn't help wondering how many days are left until spring. I'm already getting a touch of the spring fever and it's only January! One of my favorite things about springtime is the return of the birds. We have several trees right around our front porch, so on a nice spring morning you can sit out there with a cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere and maybe watch a bird or two. When I found the Droll Yankee's website I was intrigued by their bird feeders (there's quite a variety, even including team sports themed feeders), but what was even more interesting to me is their story. Two friends who started making records found a natural transition to bird feeders!
